Why Holiday Photos?
The Best Holiday Cards
Holiday cards with your dog get pinned to fridges. They get framed. People ask every year if you're sending one again. A professional holiday photo makes the card something people actually look forward to.
Your phone camera can't capture the lighting, the detail, or the real emotion of these moments. That's what I'm here for.
Memories That Don't Fade
Dogs don't get to celebrate every holiday with us forever. Holiday photos are a way to hold onto those seasons — the Christmas your dog wore that ridiculous sweater, the Easter they tried to eat the decorations.
These are real moments. Real love. And they deserve to be on your wall.
Sessions for Every Holiday
Each session is tailored to the season. Here's what we can do together.
Christmas
Cozy sweaters, twinkling lights, and your pup by the tree. Christmas dog photos are the perfect holiday card — and the memory that lasts long after the decorations come down.

- → Fireside snuggles
- → Under the Christmas tree

Easter
Springtime blooms, pastel colors, and a dog who has no idea what an Easter basket is — but looks adorable next to one. Easter sessions are bright, cheerful, and full of life.
- → Garden flower fields
- → Easter basket props
- → Bunny ears (for the brave pup)
- → Outdoor spring settings
Halloween
Costumes, pumpkins, and dogs who are very patient with their owners. Halloween sessions are playful and fun — and the photos always get the best reactions.

Fall foliage, warm golden light, and a dog surrounded by the season's best colors. Thanksgiving sessions celebrate the connection that makes every day something to be grateful for.

What Makes These Sessions Special?
Safe for All Dogs
Your dog stays leashed the whole time and we work at their pace. No forced poses, no stress. The leash is edited out of every final photo so they look natural and relaxed.
Reactive Dogs Welcome
If your dog gets nervous around new people, that's okay. I know how to photograph dogs from a distance and still get incredible shots. No dog has ever been too shy for a good photo.
Props & Themes Planned for You
Not sure what to bring or wear? I'll help you figure it all out ahead of time — from props and outfits to location and timing. You just show up and enjoy it.
Print-Ready for Cards & Walls
Every photo is edited and delivered at full resolution, ready to print. I also offer holiday card design and print ordering directly through me — all in one place.
How It Works
Pick Your Holiday
Tell me which holiday you're planning for and when. Spots fill up fast around the big ones — especially Christmas — so reach out early!
Plan the Look
We talk about props, outfits, locations, and what vibe you're going for. I'll help you figure out what will look amazing for your specific dog.
Your Session
We meet at a spot that fits the season — indoors or out. Your dog stays leashed the whole time and we keep it fun and low-pressure. The leash disappears in editing!
Holiday-Ready Photos
You get beautiful, print-ready photos perfect for holiday cards, wall art, or gifts. Order prints directly through me — I handle everything.
🎄 Holiday sessions book up fast — especially Christmas and Easter. Reach out at least 4–6 weeks before your holiday to secure your spot.
"We downloaded all the pictures and we're so happy with them. The framed photo went right up on our living room wall. It was such a pleasure working with you. Thank you for capturing some of the most precious moments with our fuzzy baby."

About the Author
Chris McCarthyProfessional Dog Photographer · Rockland, MA · 11+ years experience
I've photographed hundreds of dogs across the South Shore and Greater Boston since 2014 — every breed, size, age, and temperament. My own rescue, Sully, was reactive and anxious when I got him, and working with him every day taught me how to photograph dogs that other photographers find difficult. I specialize in reactive and shy dogs, seniors, and memory sessions — the sessions that matter most and need the most patience.
