For a Friend Whose Dog Is Ill
When a dog is seriously ill or near the end, the most useful gift is often a session that happens soon. A Memory Session is $395, scheduling within 24–48 hours is often possible, and it is gentle and unhurried — at home, in the backyard, or at a favorite quiet spot.
In this situation it usually helps to tell the owner it's coming, rather than make it a surprise, so they can book while the timing still works. Mention it in your request and the certificate can go out the same day it's paid.

Gift Certificate Questions
Does the dog need to be well-behaved for a gift session?
No. Dogs stay on leash for the whole session and the leash is removed in editing, so energetic, nervous, and stubborn dogs all photograph well. Chris works at the dog's pace, with treats and breaks built in.
Can the certificate cover more than one dog?
Yes. Each extra person or pet is $50, so a certificate can be set up to cover the whole pack — or the recipient can add them when they book.
What about the travel fee?
Sessions within 5 miles of the Rockland studio have no travel fee. Farther out on the South Shore or in Boston there is a flat $100. You can add it to the certificate, or the recipient pays it when they book.
Do dog photography gift certificates expire?
No. South Shore Pet Photography gift certificates never expire, so the recipient can wait for fall foliage, a spring beach day, or their puppy's first snow.
How do I get a gift certificate?
Fill out the request form on this page with the amount and the recipient's details. A secure invoice arrives within one business day, and once it is paid the certificate is emailed on the date you choose — to the recipient, or to you to print and put in a card.
How does the recipient use it?
They get in touch to book a date and location, then apply the code from the certificate to their booking invoice. Any leftover balance stays on the code for prints or wall art from their gallery.
