Why Get Best Dog Ever Photos?

Capture Your Connection

Dogs change our lives. But we don't get to keep them forever. That's why today is the perfect day to capture beautiful pictures of you and your best friend together. Pictures that show just how much you love each other.

You can't take photos like these with your phone. You need a photographer who understands dogs like I do. Someone who knows how to show the real connection between you and your pup.

Have more than one dog? See how a multi-dog Best Dog Ever session works.

Wall Art You'll Love

When we're done, you'll have stunning photos to hang on your walls. Pictures you'll look at every day and smile. Wall art that shows your dog being their true self - happy, wild, and loved.

These aren't boring pet photos. These are real moments. Real love. Real memories that you'll treasure forever.

What Makes a Best Dog Ever Session Special?

Safe for All Dogs

I pick safe, fun places for your photos. Maybe your backyard, a quiet trail, or a beach you love. Your dog stays on a leash during the session but don't worry - the leash disappears in the final pictures!

Reactive Dogs Are Welcome

If your dog doesn't love new people, that's totally okay. I'm a dog lover. I know how to keep a safe distance and use my camera skills to take gorgeous pictures from far away.

Fun and Easygoing

This session is about YOUR dog having a great time. They can sniff, run, play, and just be themselves. You both get to spend a perfect day doing what you love together.

For Dogs Who Are Shy

I understand dogs who don't warm up to strangers. My own dog, Sully, was like that too. I have special gear and training to photograph your dog beautifully - they don't have to like me to look amazing!

How It Works

01

Let's Talk

We talk on the phone so I can learn about your dog and what kind of pictures you want. I want to know all about them!

02

Get Scheduled

We pick a time for your session. Morning and evening are best because the light looks amazing in photos.

03

Your Session

We meet at your favorite spot - maybe the beach, a park, a trail, or even your backyard. This day is all about having fun with your best friend.

04

On Your Wall

We pick your favorite pictures together. Then we turn them into beautiful art for your home that you'll love every single day.

"We downloaded all the pictures and we're so happy with them. The framed photo went right up on our living room wall. It was such a pleasure working with you. Thank you for capturing some of the most precious moments with our fuzzy baby."

- Jolene and Jack

Chris McCarthy

Professional Dog Photographer · Rockland, MA · 11+ years experience

I've photographed hundreds of dogs across the South Shore and Greater Boston since 2014 — every breed, size, age, and temperament. My own rescue, Sully, was reactive and anxious when I got him, and working with him every day taught me how to photograph dogs that other photographers find difficult. I specialize in reactive and shy dogs, seniors, and memory sessions — the sessions that matter most and need the most patience.
